Here’s Part 6 of my Fanfiction Saga!!  Shocked, dismayed, angry, or upset 
bout my returning Nephlyte to life?  I know, he died, a LONG time back.  
But he was my all time favorite character.  You need not worry, I will be 
explaining it  to the best of my ability.  So sit back! Read!  Enjoy!

                             Tuxedo Saga
                              Chapter 6

	The scouts stand in shock before the ex-general of the Negaverse.  
The same person who had sacrificed his own life for another.  Nephlyte, who 
died protecting Molly.  The one who battled Sailor Moon, Mars, and Mercury 
countless times.  Standing calmly and emotionless in front of all five 
scouts.  He wore the same uniform he did when he fought alongside the 
Negaverse, but this time something was different.  On his shoulders he wore 
armor like that of Prince Dariens.  On each of those plates, a red Dark 
Moon crystal glowed.  Red and black power literally flowed from each 
crystal and back behind him.  A blood black cape was attached to the 
shoulder armor.  
	Mina and Lita just stood there, trying to understand what had just 
happened.  They had never seen Nephyte before and had not realized when 
they tried to attack who it was.  But they never believed it was him till 
Lita saw the one thing that convinced her it could only be him.  Serena’s, 
Amy’s, and Raye’s tears.  
	There was a long strange silence as Nephlyte just stood there.  
He seemed emotionless as he stood in front of them.  Amy was the first one 
to break this eerie quiet.  
	“We thought.....”  She began
	“That I was dead?”  Nephlyte asked in a cold and angry tone.  His 
voice seemed as dark as the day he had first met the scouts in battle.  And 
it could only of been his voice.  “I was.....  No thanks to you three.”
	Serena, Amy, and Raye were taken aback by this.  Serena tears 
,without her normal wailing, streamed down her cheeks more intensely with 
that cold comment as it pierced her heart.  She realized right then how much 
she had blamed herself for what had happened to him.  For his death.  
	Mina and Lita who had never actually seen him reacted, shall we say, 
much differently.  They step forward and Lita tiara lightning rod rose up.  
Mina raised her hand, read to release her power.  
	“Watch it mister!”  Lita growled.  “You may have saved Molly a 
couple months back, but you attacked Raye!”
	“Yeah!”  Mina shouted.  “I wasn’t there when Zoeicite attack and 
I’m not gonna pretend I was, but you have no right saying that to our 
friends.”
	“I have every right.”  Nephlyte growled.  “That moment of silence 
was your first, last, and only chance to surrender to me.  What happened 
in the past is past.  Now I serve a more powerful master!  He will wipe out 
you pitiful scouts.  Now surrender!”
	“Why....” Serena asked crying.  “Why are you doing this?  You were 
our ally, the Negaverse betrayed you, Zoeicite almost ki---”
	“Correction.  She did kill me”  Nephlyte informed her.
	“You were our friend...”  Serena whispered.  “AND YOU LOVED MOLLY!!  
NOW YOUR FIGHTING TO DESTROY OUR, no....  HER WORLD????”
	At that moment, it was Nephlyte’s turn to be taken aback.  He lower 
his head, trying to shake the thoughts that filled his mind.  Whether he’s 
been dead or not didn’t effect his memories.  “NO!” he thought “I couldn’t 
of loved her.  I’m a general, warrior of evil, I serve evil!  I....I...I... 
loved her.........”
	“I have no choice...”  Nephlyte let out at a near whisper.  “What 
ever happens....Don’t tell her that I’m back.”  Serena could only nod she 
was so sad when he said that.  “But I still have no choice.”  He said as he 
raised his hands as his star energy began to gather.  “For me to live.... 
you... must... DIE!!!”  
	With that his star energy blast shot out.  Halfway between Nephlyte 
and the scouts the red crystal on his shoulders blasted out with energy 
wrapping his star energy ball in red fire and made it grow ten-fold.  It 
exploded beneath the feet of the scouts catching them off guard and blasting 
them back each twenty feet. They scouts climbed back to their feet as 
Nephlyte leaped high into the air above the and his red crystal’s energy hit 
the ground.  Sailor Venus and Jupiter aimed straight from him, but the earth 
began to quake!  
	“Earthquake!!”  Amy screamed as they barely managed to stay on their 
feet.  
	“We don’t have any choice!”  Raye screamed as the earth shook.  
Before Serena could stop her she made the circle of fire and put her hands 
together as she called out, “Mars, Celestial, Fire, SURROUND!!!”  The fire 
circle collected into her hands and blasted her seven power rings towards 
Nephlyte.  He moved so fast out of the way there was only a blur and they 
didn’t even see him till he landed.  
	Mina raised her hand towards him.  “Venus Love Chain, ENCIRCLE!!!!”  
She shouted as her chain shoot out at Nephlyte.  To everyone surprise he 
just stood there and when it was less than a centimeter from his head, his 
hand snapped.  When they saw him  calming holding the chain with one hand 
in front of his face, they were all shocked and he remain emotionless.  
“No way...” Mina whispered as Nephylte jerked the chain and instantly coiled 
it.  Then he took the end of it and through it out and in a huge circle the 
chain went round and round the scouts.  The circling came closer and closer.  
	“I’ve got an idea...” Lita said as her antenna rose up.  “Jupiter 
Thunderclap, ZAP!!!!!”  She shouted as a ball of lighting formed in her 
hands and she shoot it, not at Nephlyte, but at the chain.  The chain 
sparked with her power and blasted Nephylte shocking him into dropping the 
chain which fell to the ground just inches from the scouts.
	“Wait, Please Wait!  We don’t have to fight against each other!” 
Serena pleaded as Nephylte charged another star ball.  She kept moving 
toward him.  Walking towards him without fear.  The other scouts began to 
rush at her a try to stop her but they couldn’t. 
	Nephlyte’s hands filled with pure energy.  He brought his hand back 
and plunged them into the ground below him.  The earth rippled with energy 
as a twenty foot tall rise of rock came between Nephylte and the other 
scouts.  Sailor Moon just stood in front of the wall, trying hard not to 
show her fear.  
	“Please Nephlyte.”  Sailor Moon pleaded.  “I can’t fight you.  
You know that because I cant hurt Molly, no more than you could hurt her.”
	The anger faded out of Nephylte’s eyes for just a moment as it was 
filled with confusion.  He griped his head in pain for just a moment, then 
he was silent.  He lowered his head, unable to look Sailor Moon in the eye.  
“I do care for her.....That will never change.  But I have been given one 
chance to live again....  After it was taken away.  No thanks to you.  You 
know what I found out ‘Serena’?”  He asked a shocked Sailor Moon.
	Serena quickly recovered from her shock and realized that Nephlyte 
had know who she was.  He learned that the day he had died.  “What?”  
Serena responded timidly.
	“The day, the very day after I died, you receive a new tool, didn’t 
you?”
	Serena remembered back.  “The Crescent Moon wand.  I remember.”
	“From what I’ve learned, your power that came with that wand was, 
“Moon HEALING activation”  He screamed when he said “Healing”
	Sailor Moon pondered what it is he meant by that.....  Then it hit 
her.  By one day, she missed her opportunity to save his life.  That power 
could of saved him.  Healed him.  Sailor Moon stood silent for a moment.
	“Now if I am too live.”  he whispered, “you must die.”  He remained 
silent for a few moments then he raised his head and his eyes turned blood 
red.  “I HAVE NO CHOICE”  He screamed crossing his hands to collect star 
energy.  His red crystal charged the energy this time.  Soon his entire 
body was surrounded by an aura of red energy.  Sailor Moon began to step 
back in fear.  The earth began to tremble as the energy continued to build.  
Nephlyte drew back his hand and the energy began to focus from all around 
him into a single red glowing aura around his right hand.  The he screamed.  
Not just any scream, but his scream echoed throughout the city as he punched 
his hand forward releasing the deadly energy.  It flew in the air as time 
seemed to stop. 
	A pink blast of light flooded the air around them and the sphere 
exploded.  The blast shook the wall that separated the two warriors from 
the rest of the scouts to the ground.  the blast had not reached Sailor 
Moon.
	“What on earth?....” a dumb founded Nephlyte pondered as he saw 
Sailor Moon just standing there, confused as he was.  
	A single soft voice echoed through around them.  “The is always a 
choice.  Between the light and the dark Nephlyte.  It’s up to you to make 
that choice.”  
	Nephlyte and the scouts kept turning, looking for where the voice 
had come from.  Until Mercury shouted, “Look!” as she pointed to the thick 
trees.  
	There, standing with their backs to the moonlight, where two figures 
almost impossible to make out.  Both clad in tuxedos and capes, they stood, 
shoulder to shoulder.  One wore a top hat and his blue interior cape flowed 
with the wind.  The other shocked the scouts totally, because she wore a 
mask without a hat and her hair flowed in the wind along with her cape with 
it’s pink interior.  
	“A female tuxedo warrior?”  Mina pondered.  
	“No way....”  Lita let out.
	All this time while the scouts had been preoccupied with this new 
warrior in a Tuxedo, Nephlyte charged another star blast.  He didn’t super 
charge it like before, “That would alerted the scout”  he thought silently.  
The attack was ready and scouts didn’t expect a thing.  “Better take care 
of those two first,” he thought, “they appear to be a nuisance that has to 
be dealt with as soon as possible.  But something is definitely familiar 
about her.....  I just can’t quiet place it.”  The energy on his crystal 
sparkled t and surged the power ball with twice as much energy.  He through 
his hands forward and the ball went flying over the scouts heads.  Shocked, 
the scouts ducked in time to avoid the energy that was not meant for them. 
	The figure on the left gently nodded to his fellow warrior.  She 
nodded back.  She floated into the air effortlessly.  In a instant she was 
high above the trees.  Her cape began to shimmer with energy and began to 
shape itself.  All that could be seen was the pink interior as the cape 
turned into the shape of a heart.  It pulsed with pink lights as she 
shouted, “Pink, Carnation, Heart,”  The heart shape glowed behind her with 
3 times the intensity as she shouted, “CRUSH!!!!”  The energy blast toward 
the attacking energy ball with two beams of pink light, solid and in the 
shape of a heart, except for the part which he stood in front of.  The two 
energies collided and an explosion was all that was left.  When the dust 
settled, the two figures were standing side by side again, unharmed.   
	“Impossible!” Nephlyte shouted.  “Nothing can withstand my power!”  
	“Face facts Nephlyte.”  Mina informed him.  “Your out numbered.”
	“And out matched by the look of things.”  Lita added.  
	“Who are you?”  Nephlyte growled at the two tuxedo warriors.
	At that the two warriors leaped into the air and disappeared behind 
the trees.  But not without saying one last thing.  Her soft voice carried 
by the wind responded, “I am the warrior of love, Tuxedo Heart.”  
	“Tuxedo Heart?”  Serena whispered.
	“Hey wait a sec!”  Lita shouted.  “Where did Nephyte go?!”
	Everyone looked around, but Nephlyte was nowhere to be seen.  
	“I don’t believe it.”  Serena muttered.

	“ARGH!!  That does it!”  Lita exclaims once everyone has returned 
to the temple.  “Now we have ANOTHER warrior who doesn’t even stick around 
to bother to tell us who the heck he is.”
	“She.”  Mina corrects.
	Lita distressed replies, “All I know is that if one more 
‘mysterious’ stranger shows up I’m gonna scream.  First Tuxedo Mask, then 
Moonlight Knight, then Tuxedo Mind, now this Tuxedo Heart character.  It’s 
really getting on my nerves.”  
	All the scouts are equally shocked by this.  “Ummm, Lita?”  Amy 
asks.  “Didn’t you say just a few weeks ago, and I quote, ‘ Moonlight Knight 
you can save me anytime.’?”  (See Sailor Moon episode 'Food Fetish' for 
details) 
	Serena, Luna, Raye, Amy, Artemis, and Mina snicker a little before 
completely bursting out laughing.  Lita shoots them all an angry glance as 
they roll over laughing.  
	“And I thought it was just Serena the hyena.  Not all of you.”  Lita 
grumbles.  
	Luna manages to get her laughing under control, sorta, and pulls 
herself together.  Everyone else slowly follows suit.  “Thanks for Amy.  
I guess we kinda needed a laugh.”  Lita grumbles under her breath at that.  
“But seriously, we have to be really careful now.  Nephlyte was one of the 
toughest generals of the Dark Kingdom.  The facts that he’s back raises some 
serious problems.”
	Serena leans back and kinda stares at the sky for the moment.  “Yeah,” 
she says softly.  “Like what to do about Molly....”
	Everyone falls silent at that.  “There’s no way we can tell her.....”  
Raye mutters under her breath.  “I’d kill her.  She loved him and he died in 
her arms.”  
	“When we were separated....”  Serena stutters out, “he told me two 
things.”  Serena is now staring at the ground to avoid showing her friends 
she’s almost crying.  “The first was that he didn’t want Molly to know.”
	“And the second?”  Mina asks.
	“That it was my fault he died.”
	“What?....”  Everyone almost whispers.  
	“Serena you couldn’t do anything.”  Luna reassures her.  “It wasn’t 
yours or Molly’s fault he died.  It was the Dark Kingdom’s fault!”  
	“There was nothing out could of done Serena.”  Amy tells her.  “He 
was too badly hurt.  Even if a doctor got there in time it wouldn’t of 
helped.”
	“Oh yeah?!  What about the Moon Wand?  Huh?”  Serena blurts out, 
upset now.  
	“The Moon Wand?”  Luna wonders.  “What about it?”
	“Oh come on Luna!”  Serena yells at her.  “It hasn’t been that long.  
Don’t you remember ‘Moon HEALING activation’?”
	“I don’t under......”  Luna starts but stops mid sentence.  The 
realization hits her like a ton of bricks.  She went on ahead of Serena.  
Wasn’t there.  Couldn’t of given the Moon Wand to her that could of saved 
Nephlyte’s life.  Luna feels a lump of ice materialize in her stomach as 
she, all of a sudden, no longer feels to good.  “Oh my god....What have I 
done......?”

	Nephlyte is thrown across the rooms, slamming his back into a solid 
crystal wall at about fifty mile per hour.  He falls right after getting the 
wind knocked out of him.  Climbing to his feet, he doesn’t even flinch as 
he stares dead on into Rubeus’s blood red eyes.  
	“That was for leaving when you could have beaten the scouts.”  
Rubeus growls.  “You had them all there.  Your power was more than 
sufficient. Those two pesky unknown Tuxedo left.  No Tuxedo Mask.  You had 
the scout’s backs turned.  AND YOU LET THEM GET AWAY!!!”
	“My instruction were,”  Nephlyte begins, but is stopped as Rubeus 
blasts him with about a dozen energy balls.  
	“They were perfectly clear!  I told you to destroy the Sailor Scouts 
and you disobeyed a direct order!  The punishment for that is clear.”  Rubeus 
informs him as he turns to the center of the room.  A small black, flaming 
orb appears in the center of them room.  It is almost identical to that 
which Rubeus gave Catsy when she was kicked out.  A NegaBomb.  But this 
one was smaller.  This one was only about as big as a candlepin bowling ball.  
	“NO!”  Nephlyte let out.  “Wiseman told you not to use the death
sphere unless he specifically told you too.”
	“Wiseman’s not here is he?”  Rubeus says with a smirk as he 
turns back toward Nephlyte.  “Funny, this small orb brought you back.  To 
bad you didn’t use that opportunity to succeed for once on a mission.”  
Rubeus is almost laughing as he fails to notice the table the orb was on 
slowly fade away and Wise Man float up from the floor in it’s place.  
	“I send ya a postcard Nephylte!  What’s that address again?  Oh 
yes.... 666 OBLIVION!!!”
	“Nu -uh Rubeus”  Wiseman utters as he grasps his icy hands 
around Rubeus’s neck from behind and lifts him several feet into the air.  
“Now whose disobeying a DIRECT order?”
	“Wis----an......”Rubeus manages  to gurgle out while being choked.  
“What......a .....pleasant......surprise.”
	“Well don’t get all choked up about my visit.  I figured I just 
stop by, say hi, and ask WHY THE HELL WERE YOU GOING AGAINST MY SPECIFIC 
ORDER NOT TO KILL HIM?”  Wiseman yelled as he dropped Rubeus hard against 
the floor.  
	Rubeus, slowly getting to his feet tried to explain.  “My lord.... 
He had failed us both.  When he had the opportunity to defeat the scouts, 
he left without reason to.  He abandoned a perfectly good mission.”
	“Hah!”  Wiseman laughed.  “He was supposed to leave.  I sensed more 
power on the side of the scouts, but knew it was from someone new.  His 
mission was simply to beat the scouts enough to make that new warrior 
appear.”
	“Tuxedo Heart?”  Nephlyte and Rubeus asked in unison, then shot 
angry glances at one another.
	“Yes.  I sensed her coming would be soon, but had to be sure.  
Plus, Nephlyte isn’t even at full power yet.  I sent him on that mission as 
a training exercise.”
	“I..I.. see Wiseman.  Your plan was brilliant.”  Rubeus stuttered 
out.
	“IS brilliant you fool.  This was only a single phase in the plan.  
We will soon have the power to check ever power they can throw at us and 
defeat them with ease.  Once our plan is complete. NOW go to Crown and 
continue the scanning.  Very few piece remain unfinished in the puzzle 
now.”
	“Yes my lord”  Rubeus said, as he float back through a mirror and 
disappeared.

	Serena is once again late for school and dashes around the yet 
another corner, leaving a huge cloud of dust in her wake.  She yawns as she 
mumbles, “Oh man those Nega-dweebs gotta start attacking more during the 
day.   They have no respect for sleep at all.  Well.... Maybe that hypotica 
droid did but the rest of them, Nope.”  She turns yet another corner she 
sees Molly also running late just ahead of her.  “Hi Mol!”  she yells ahead.
	Molly stops for a sec to see who it is.  “Hi Serena!” she smiles 
back with a yawn.  She continues to run as Serena catches up with her and 
they run together.
	“You feelin better today?”  Serena asks in between breaths as they 
run
	“Yep.  Just a  little flu, that’s all”  Molly replies, also in 
between breaths as they run.  Serena notices that Molly seems a little 
different as they run.  The other day Molly was really gasping for air when 
they were running, and today they’re going almost twice as fast today.  
	“You seem to have a bit of energy this morning.”  Serena noticed.
	“Well...... I guess...” Molly trailed off.
	Serena shrugged it off and kept running at full speed, but Molly 
seemed to be beating her by just a bit.  “Man she’s fast today”  Serena 
thought as they both dashed round another corner.  Both Serena and Molly 
were shocked to say the least when they saw Melvin running.
	“That’s impossible!” Serena exclaimed.  “Melvin is never, never, 
ever late.  He’s usually at least a half hour early to school every day.”  
	“Definitely weird”  Molly replied with a smile as they managed to 
catch up with him.  
	“Oh, hi girls!”   Melvin exclaimed as they ran.  “You late too?”
	“Yep.  How come your late?  Busted alarm clock?”  Serena inquired, 
really curious.
	“Well.....I....ummm...”Melvin stuttered.  “I kinda...overslept.”
	“No way!”  Molly and Serena exclaimed in surprise
	“Hey, you too oversleep alot.  Especially you Serena!”  Melvin 
retorted with a slight smile developing in the corner of his mouth.  “More 
than once you ran so fast in, you knocked one or two things over.  Like the 
cleaning cabinet, desks, me?”
	“True...” Serena grumbly admitted as she noticed Melvin running at 
a good pace too.  “Hey Melvin?  I thought the last time you ran the mile 
in school, it took you like half and hour.  Now your running bout a 6 
minute mile.”  Serena commented.
	“Well...ummm”  Melvin trailed off nervously
	“Oh well, we’d better book it before Miss. H gives us a detention!”  
Molly announced as she picked up speed.
	“Good idea...”  a relieved Melvin agreed as they doubled their 
speed as they entered the school grounds.

	The arcade is quiet now.  During the day it is practically abandoned 
because all it’s best customer’s are at school.  The games are all silent, 
and the place has an eerie air to it.  Only the sound of the manager can be 
heard, sweeping up the floor, and getting ready for this afternoon’s customers.  
He places his broom back in the cleaning closet, and opens the mirror door to 
the back room.  He tosses his cap to the coat rack as he sits down and puts 
his feet up on the desk.  He hits a few buttons on the computer that is on 
the desk and the screen lights up and begins to process.  The light from the 
screen lights up the once dark room.  Rubeus’s face is lit up as he stares 
into the computer screen.  Looking at picture after picture.   
	“Soon...  Very soon”  he mumbles as he sips his coffee and 
continues watching the screen.
